To help make each and every pull a success several duties must be performed at each pull. Some of these duties include setup and tear down ,flagmen, sled operator, scale operator and hook up.
responsibilities of each are as follows:
*set up and tear down * track preparation
*scale setup * PA system
* any other tasks as needed.
FLAGMAN:
-has complete control of the pull in progress
-decision in FINAL
-two flagman are required in all classes one at the 50' and one at the end of the track. They are responsible for informing the driver if they did not go 50' and calling fouls.
SLED OPERATOR:
-must have a valid drivers license and 18 years of age
SCALE OPERATOR:
-check and record machine weight - includes fire suits and helmets as needed when weighing in. Weight allowance of +3# for all classes.
-check hitch height and length
HOOK-UP:
-hook up person shall move to the 50' to flag as required for classes to ensure safety.
-will do individual safety checks when the machine hooks to sled. Connects all kill switches at the time of hook.
Club will decide at the event the use of the floating finish line when possible. This will be determined at the driver's meeting.
Once hooked there is no substitution of tractors for that class. If machine breaks before hooking you may pull with another machine. Once hooked to the sled if breakage occurs there are no refunds of hook fee.
Only two drivers per machine per class
Pay out and distance goes to the driver not the machine
Foot or hand throttles are acceptable but no wires, chains, string, or tarp straps
When registering you will hand your entry form to the person at the table. You will roll the dice under observation of the table attendant.
All participants and track help must sign a waiver.
All participants under 18 must have a guardian's signature
No machine can register prior to being checked by tech personnel. Machine must be teched each pulling season and receive new tech tag. After being "teched in" no changes can be made to the machine other than weight changes and minor adjustments. If other changes beyond these are made a 2nd "tech check" will be required
No nitrous oxide or pressurized gas in any class. Electric fuel pumps are allowed but must be connected to the kill plug.
Driver is considered disqualified when any part if the machine touches the boundary lines{except the first puller in a class} a foul cannot occur after the full pull line.
Loss of weights or any parts from the machine will result in a disqualification
Every puller has 2 minutes after the sled is in the staging position to hook and make first pull attempt
First puller has the option of taking the pull or coming back last even if they foul
Pullers have 2 attemps to move the sled if the 1st attempt does not exceed the 50' line and did not foul {except the 1st puller} your 2nd attempt must be taken within 2 minutes after the sled returns. The machine can not leave the track before the 2nd attept. Two machines must pull prior to restarting a class. Sled operator will have final decision in restart. In restart, first 2 machines will drop to the end of the class and the next puller in line begins the class over. In a restart, first person to pull has 2 attempts.
Two riders on the same machine may drop positions to separate. Line -up placement will be delegated by the table attendant.
In a pull-off you have only 1 attempt to move the sled. When more than one person fouls in a pull-off the money for those positions will be added together and split between those fouling.
Machines permitted to exhibition pull must pay a hook fee but are not eligible for a pay out. It must meet all safety requirements to exhibition pull! It must be teched prior to pulling.
No alcohol in any garden tractor class. except in pro-stock class.
